Aesthetic Medicine is understood as a 'specialist' branch of traditional medicine, aimed at the prevention and medical treatment of blemishes and dysmorphisms and the causes that produce them, the pursuit of the psycho-physical well-being of the individual, the prevention and treatment of aging in all age groups, not only understood as an aesthetic phenomenon, but as the prevention of all those pathologies connected to it.
The WHO (World Health Organization) establishes that any medical act must never be separated from the concept of psycho-physical well-being which must be guaranteed to all peoples and throughout the world.
