The Aesthetic Doctor
Agorà – Italian Society of Aesthetic Medicine is a scientific society active in the development and training of Aesthetic Medicine in Italy and around the world.
Since 1986, through its Postgraduate School, it has codified Aesthetic Medicine with assessments, procedures, and guidelines, becoming a point of reference for Aesthetic Physicians. For over 35 years, it has been the first school to train physicians with an Italian perspective on the issue.
A substantial difference from the international one precisely because of the care, the in-depth study and the series of specific treatments in this particular field.
HOW TO BECOME A COSMETIC DOCTOR
Becoming an Aesthetic Doctor is possible thanks to a structured and professionalizing training program: starting with a degree in Medicine and Surgery, a four-year postgraduate training program is followed. The four-year program is considered the necessary time to develop diagnostics, prevention, treatment, and maintenance of patient well-being, providing the Aesthetic Doctor with the appropriate theoretical and practical training. The School of Aesthetic Medicine offers university-level scientific teaching with significant in-depth practical training through specific exercises.
AESTHETIC DOCTOR: COURSE OF STUDY
The Aesthetic Medicine course is very easy to attend: it allows doctors already working in the professional world to attend without any problems, with one day of classes every two weeks, available live and on-demand through the AgoraAcademy digital platform. The winning formula that has characterized Agorà training since 1986 is the right mix of theory and practice. Residential and live-streamed lessons are complemented by "Meet the Expert" modules: practical training for the execution and use of specific medical-aesthetic treatments, including analysis of formulations, devices, and related live case presentations, discussion, and treatment. Also included are "Meet the Tutor" modules, specific one-hour modules in which students can interact with the instructor via the platform, asking questions, requesting clarifications, and simulating treatment procedures on the topics covered.
