Agora for Scientific Research: a shared commitment with the Umberto Veronesi Foundation to support cancer research.

Scientific research represents a fundamental pillar of medical progress and of concretely improving the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of oncological diseases.

Agorà's ongoing commitment to scientific research fits into this context, having supported an annual research grant in collaboration with the Umberto Veronesi ETS Foundation since 2020.

As a testament to the value of this shared journey, Professor Paolo Veronesi expressed his gratitude through an institutional video, emphasizing the importance of the contribution of scientific organizations like Agorà in promoting rigorous, independent oncology research aimed at improving clinical practice.

The Umberto Veronesi ETS Foundation was founded in 2003 by Professor Umberto Veronesi to promote scientific progress, concentrating its work in

two areas: funding for excellent scientific research , the driving force of scientific progress, and scientific dissemination , so that scientific discoveries become the heritage of all.

During these twenty years the Foundation has created the foundations for a new model of scientific development, introducing a criterion that is unprecedented in our country: investing in culture.
